OUR STORY

Bluevale Homestead is a small, family-run farm with a passion for caring for the land and providing fresh, healthy produce to our local community.

The farm is run by Matt and Michelle, who each bring unique experience and dedication to their shared vision. Matt is a sixth-generation farmer and qualified maintenance fitter, raised on a mixed farming operation north of Nanango. Michelle studied Agricultural Science at the University of Queensland (St Lucia) and continues to work in the industry today.

Together, we are committed to regenerative agriculture — improving soil health, raising high-quality cattle using low-stress stock handling, and farming in a way that supports both the land and our animals. We believe in low food miles, keeping money in local communities and out of the hands of big corporations, and helping people reconnect with where their food comes from.
